Natural Plan Stomach Soother Gets Positive Reviews – Helps All Kinds of Stomach Issues

Have you ever Googled yourself?  Kind of a scary moment, when you hit “Enter” and then wait to see what the court of public opinion has to say about you.  Well, we recently checked out what people were saying about Natural Plan Stomach Soother and we are glad we did.  There were a lot of stories where people spoke of how well it worked and a couple of stories where people weren’t sure, but they DID know that the horses loved the taste of Natural Plan Stomach Soother.  There were also some comments on the price – half thought it was inexpensive and half thought it was expensive.  Our comment on that is this, a single tube of omoparazole is well over $30, $40 and is $13 really too expensive for 8 days of digestive treatment?

We’ve taken some of the comments we’ve found online about Natural Plan Stomach Soother and how it helped their horses.  Read on to see how it might help your horse.

“I tried Stomach Soother on my young mare who wasn’t putting on weight months post foaling/weaning and was stressing over her turnout with older horses. I bought 2 months worth and only needed 1 month of it, as she finally turned the corner. She eats well now and always liked the taste of it. I’d been trying to tempt her appetite for months and doing things like shutting her in a stall with her hay. Mine come in for grain 2x a day.”   From: The Heartland

“I have used Stomach Soother for a TB mare that had ulcer symptoms. Her appetite picked up and she seemed happier with the world. I probably kept her on it for 6 months. I ordered a new case and it is sitting unopened because she seems to be eating fine at the moment. I had to feed it to her in a dose syringe at first because I couldn’t depend on her to eat her feed. After about a week I could put it on the feed and she would start eating. She seems to like it. I also use it when the horses are stressed. It is a pain to go get it out of the refrigerator twice a day.”   From Houston, TX

“I used it on an older horse with chronic diarrhea and it definitely helped. It isn’t quite as affordable as I’d have liked – you saw it on a shelf somewhere? I thought it was only available by mail order.”   From: Seargantvilles, NJ

“Love, love, love the (Natural Plan) Stomach Soother.   Old horse suffers from bad NTWs so much that he ulcers and goes off his feed and drops a ton of weight. So this summer, as he was getting itchy – and dewormed for the critters, I started the Stomach Soother. And presto! He kept eating and eating and eating.   Now I use for my fox-hunter/eventer. One day he just started weaving and being stupid. After adding the SS – back to his ol’ calm self.  Not sure if it is the most economical tummy ache med, but it has worked for me so I always make sure there is some in the fridge. ”  From:  Sunny, SC

It’s gratifying to read what’s been read – it was generally positive.  Just a couple of points I’d like to make – – understand it may be a pain to get it out of the fridge, but Natural Plan Stomach Soother has no preservatives so the 32 oz. bottle has to be refrigerated after opening.  We have a 2 oz. size that is available if refrigeration is not an option.  It is more convenient because it'[s a pre-measured dose.  Yes, it is more expensive, but it’s mostly because of the packaging.  Our products are available online at http://www.stomachsoother.com and increasingly, at a local tack or pet store near you.  We get new stores signed up every week.  And about the price, $13 gets you 16 doses for a full sized horse.  Sounds like a deal to me.

We appreciate all the comments and posting that people do because that is how this company has grown – by word of mouth.  It’s the most valuable advertising a company can have.

Stall Bound for 8 Months, Mulder Makes It Back Under Saddle with Natural Plan Stomach Soother ™

There are a lot of reasons you might need to put your horse on stall rest – injury, recuperation from surgery, illness.  Any you may not know the unintended consequences of stall rest.

Your horse may develop stomach issues that can appear as cribbing, lack of appetite, diarrhea, weight loss and more.  Put that on top of the original issue for the stall rest and you and your horse aren’t feeling great.  The reasons these symptoms appear is pretty straightforward.  A horse is meant to be a grazing animal – they secrete stomach acid on a continuous basis to digest what they are grazing on.  But when a horse is put on stall rest, grazing is just not possible and they are fed their meals.  While this satisfies the caloric needs of the horse, it does no favors to their digestive systems.

Many people then turn to expensive medications to turn off the natural process of acid secreting but aren’t satisfied by the results.  What to do?

Tiffany R. wrote us and told us how she handled her horse Mulder’s stall rest for 8 months without any stomach issues.

She writes,

“I am writing to let everyone know what a great product Natural Plan Stomach Sootheris!  My event horse Mulder was stricken with a rare bone infection in his shoulder at the height of his competitive career.  The road to a concrete diagnosis took us through 7 vets and two clinics before he was diagnosed with an infection that impacted his bone and tendon.  Desperate to save his life, I attacked the situation with all that I had – both conventionally and unconventionally.  As most of us know, when a horse has to be stall bound for 8 months – stomach issues can ensue.

Mulder was immediate put on Natural Plan Stomach Soother and he was kept on it during the entire duration of his rehabilitation.  Not only would he try to eat the syringe as I squirted the contents into his feed, but he also never had any stomach problems during his stall confinement!  I use NPSS now on all of my horses – before competitions, trailering or even when they get a little girthy before a ride.  It is an amazing product that shows amazing results time and time again.

Mulder is back under saddle now doing flatwork and polework.  I don’t know what his future will hold as far as riding and competition, but what I do know is I have a sound, healthy and absolutely happy horse once again!  Thank you Natural Plan Stomach Soother for all the support you have given us!”

Mulder is a lucky horse that he had an owner that knew how to proactively treat her horse as opposed to reacting to stomach problems later.  It’s said often because it’s true – an ounce of prevention (in this case 60 cc’s of Natural Plan Stomach Soother) is worth a pound of cure.    Find out how others are using Natural Plan Stomach Soother to treat a variety of issues with their horses and other animals by visiting www.stomachsoother.com.

Arthritic &Finicky Eater Gets on the Plan – Eats Heartily, Maintains Weight with Stomach Soother

Natalie V. told us her story,

Dear Stomach Soother,

About nine years ago, my parents bought me my dream horse, a 16.0 hand, Thoroughbred gelding named Miller.  I gave him the show name of “My Alibi”.  Immediately his dressage and eventing was unmatched.  His ability and our bond grew as we went through the hardships and hurdles of teenage life together.  We were inseparable (hence his show name…).  However, a few years after we bought him horrible stifle arthritis began to develop – initiated by previous years on the track.

He began to become a VERY finicky eater with tomach ulcers and was constantly in pain from the arthritis.  Countless cortisone shots later, we decided it was time to let him live a happy and long ife free of pain, but his eating never improved.  My mother, trainer and I researched and researched trying countless of eating supplements and spending thousands of dollars on weight gainers, but Miller refused to even consider the majority of them, choosing to not eat at all over eating his grain with a mysterious product.  I am now in college and recently went to a tack store (the English Horn in Washington, PA) and saw your product.  Something about it made me pick it up and think about my horse.  I decided to try it but was very skeptical it would turn out the same as the rest.  I gave the brochure to my trainer, who shard the “it’s too good to be true” feeling I had.  To our surprise, Miller LOVED it.

I don’t know if you know how big of a compliment that is to your product, but just emphasize, he won’t eat without it and literally runs to his dish when he knows grain with Natural Plan Stomach Soother ™ is there.  This never, ever, happened before with another product.  I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to your company.  It broke my heart every day when I went to visit him and see he ws about 200 lbs. underweight and refusing to eat.

Your product is bringing out the horse in him (physically and mentally) that I knew when I first purchased him years ago and I can’t thank you enough for that.  If anyone ever doubts this product or has skepticism like did, please share this story.  I would love to help another horse and owner like you helped me by sharing the power this product has.  Once again…thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Natural Plan for Digestive Ease after Stall Rest, Anti-Inflammatory Drugs

Navy Bird Maintains Weight w/Natural Plan Stomach Soother

You walk out to the barn to find your beloved thoroughbred breeding stallion is a three-legged lame.  The vet discovers a pebble under his sole, pressing on the coffin bone.  Ugh.  Following surgery, the horse must be on high doses of anti-inflammatory medications and antibiotics during a minimum of six weeks of stall rest.  You get the stallion home, and to top it all off, he looks at his food and refuses to eat.

You are loathe to burden the horse with yet another pharmaceutical – not to mention burdening your budget.  You do some research and come across Natural Plan Stomach Soother™ (NPSS) and Presto!  One dose and the stallion eats.  Your cost of digestive distress treatment drops to around $50 a month versus what pharmaceuticals cost.  On top of that, your horse takes NPSS from the dosing syringe as if it were a treat.  Your horse is happy, you’re happy.

This is what happened to Julia B. owner/manager of Nonesuch Farm inNokesville,Virginiaand her stallion “Navy Bird”.  After six weeks of recovery, he had not lost one pound.  “I recommend Natural Plan Stomach Soother™ to anyone with a horse on medication and stall confinement,” she says.

Others have found NPSS useful for relieving stomach ulcers, stopping diarrhea, reducing cribbing, helping hard keepers gain weight, eliminating foal scours, easing weaning & restoring appetites.  The severe digestive problems associated with some of the newest EPM meds can be pre-empted if the horse is concurrently dosed with Natural Plan Stomach Soother.

NPSS triggers a thickening of the mucous lining in the esophagus & stomach strengthening the natural defenses against excessive digestive acid.  It is this acid that may lead to ulcers.  This mucous thickening also protects the digestive system when exposed to harsh non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

In addition, Natural Plan Stomach Soother™ has the enzyme papain which closely resembles our own digestive enzyme pepsin.  This permits a horse with a compromised digestive system build or maintain weight.  Papain also helps the horse break down its food more efficiently, and in the correct part of the gut for water absorption which helps stop diarrhea or the killing of “good” gut bacteria by antibiotics.

Non-natural remedies have several drawbacks.  In addition to their high cost, the acid reducing drugs can lead to an over-population of “bad” bacteria, such as salmonella, which would normally be killed by normal acid levels.  This, in turn, sets the horse up for repeated bouts of colic.  The magnesium/calcium drugs can, over a long time, lead to metabolic imbalances and make the horse prone to azutoria (“tieing up”).  These drugs are also unpalatable which make giving them to your horse a chore, if not dangerous.  Horses love the thick consistency and sweet taste of Natural Plan Stomach Soother™ so much that it makes it an ideal medium for giving unpalatable meds.

For Julia B., Natural Plan Stomach Soother kept her stallion “Navy Bird” at his best even after 6 weeks of stall rest and for a fraction of the cost of traditional meds.  She’s on the plan and happy that she is.
