Natural Plan Stomach Soother Gets Positive Reviews – Helps All Kinds of Stomach Issues

Have you ever Googled yourself?  Kind of a scary moment, when you hit “Enter” and then wait to see what the court of public opinion has to say about you.  Well, we recently checked out what people were saying about Natural Plan Stomach Soother and we are glad we did.  There were a lot of stories where people spoke of how well it worked and a couple of stories where people weren’t sure, but they DID know that the horses loved the taste of Natural Plan Stomach Soother.  There were also some comments on the price – half thought it was inexpensive and half thought it was expensive.  Our comment on that is this, a single tube of omoparazole is well over $30, $40 and is $13 really too expensive for 8 days of digestive treatment?

We’ve taken some of the comments we’ve found online about Natural Plan Stomach Soother and how it helped their horses.  Read on to see how it might help your horse.

“I tried Stomach Soother on my young mare who wasn’t putting on weight months post foaling/weaning and was stressing over her turnout with older horses. I bought 2 months worth and only needed 1 month of it, as she finally turned the corner. She eats well now and always liked the taste of it. I’d been trying to tempt her appetite for months and doing things like shutting her in a stall with her hay. Mine come in for grain 2x a day.”   From: The Heartland

“I have used Stomach Soother for a TB mare that had ulcer symptoms. Her appetite picked up and she seemed happier with the world. I probably kept her on it for 6 months. I ordered a new case and it is sitting unopened because she seems to be eating fine at the moment. I had to feed it to her in a dose syringe at first because I couldn’t depend on her to eat her feed. After about a week I could put it on the feed and she would start eating. She seems to like it. I also use it when the horses are stressed. It is a pain to go get it out of the refrigerator twice a day.”   From Houston, TX

“I used it on an older horse with chronic diarrhea and it definitely helped. It isn’t quite as affordable as I’d have liked – you saw it on a shelf somewhere? I thought it was only available by mail order.”   From: Seargantvilles, NJ

“Love, love, love the (Natural Plan) Stomach Soother.   Old horse suffers from bad NTWs so much that he ulcers and goes off his feed and drops a ton of weight. So this summer, as he was getting itchy – and dewormed for the critters, I started the Stomach Soother. And presto! He kept eating and eating and eating.   Now I use for my fox-hunter/eventer. One day he just started weaving and being stupid. After adding the SS – back to his ol’ calm self.  Not sure if it is the most economical tummy ache med, but it has worked for me so I always make sure there is some in the fridge. ”  From:  Sunny, SC

It’s gratifying to read what’s been read – it was generally positive.  Just a couple of points I’d like to make – – understand it may be a pain to get it out of the fridge, but Natural Plan Stomach Soother has no preservatives so the 32 oz. bottle has to be refrigerated after opening.  We have a 2 oz. size that is available if refrigeration is not an option.  It is more convenient because it'[s a pre-measured dose.  Yes, it is more expensive, but it’s mostly because of the packaging.  Our products are available online at http://www.stomachsoother.com and increasingly, at a local tack or pet store near you.  We get new stores signed up every week.  And about the price, $13 gets you 16 doses for a full sized horse.  Sounds like a deal to me.

We appreciate all the comments and posting that people do because that is how this company has grown – by word of mouth.  It’s the most valuable advertising a company can have.

Older Horses Benefit from Natural Plan Stomach Soother

Mary T. wrote to us recently about her friend, a Quarterhorse named Fred.  He’s a lucky old guy, and not just because he was rescued, but because he was rescued by someone who truly cared about him and would work until she found the right solutions for her horse’s issues.  Below is the letter she sent us, telling us about Fred and Natural Plan Stomach Soother.

Natural Plan Stomach Soother has Older Horses Feeling Great

Older horses sometimes have stomach issues – they can be helped with Natural Plan Stomach Soother – papaya for horses

“It is past time for me to write about how Stomach Soother has helped my QH horse Fred. Fred is 30 or 31, was rescued in 2007 from a starvation situation and clearly has had abuse in his past. I adopted him in the fall of 2008. In the summer of 2009 he started having excess water in his stools and what I named “wet farts” – where he sprayed watery poo into his tail and down his buttocks. A lot of work to keep him clean and comfortable. It was episodic, but became worse in 2010. I tried a lot of different products – including four weeks of Gastrogard – but nothing really stopped the problem permanently. (I also switched alfalfa pellets to grass pellets – the alfalfa seems to aggravate the problem.)

I learned about Stomach Soother and started him on it mid-2012, twice a day in his mash. His issues cleared up in four weeks! I decided a few weeks ago to take him off and see if it made any difference. In three days of no Stomach Soother, his appetite was down and there was suddenly a lot of undigested hay fiber in his manure. That did it. He will be on Stomach Soother for life, it clearly helps him in many ways. (PS: He has Cushings syndrome, diagnosed in 2010, and is on Prascend – but no one thinks he looks like a Cushings horse, including the vet, he feels good, and keeps up with an 11-year-old warmblood during turnout.)

Thanks for making such a great product!”

Thanks Mary for telling us how Natural Plan Stomach Soother helped your Quarterhorse friend, Fred.

8-Length Win w/ 10-1 odds? Bet On It If You’re On the Plan!

Natalie Glyshaw from Glyshaw Racing Stables tells us about “Unreachable Star”, her thoroughbred gelding bred in Indiana.  He was the 2009 Indiana Bred Horse of the Year to be exact.  He has won three stake races in the last two years, the Gus Grissom, the Brickyard, and the Wiliam Henry Harrison.  all three stake races were against other Indiana Breds.  Unreachable Star’s biggest and best race came at Churchill Downs, against much more accomplished and better bred horses on November 20th, 2009.  The Betting public made him 10 to 1 odds, the 3rd longest shot in the field.  What the public didn’t know was that Unreachable Star had been taking Natural Plan Stomach Soother, actually a little bit extra the closer we got to race day.  He had always been a picky eater with the bad habit of dunking his feed in his water bucket.  He has been on Stomach Soother for the last two years and has had nothing but success since.  He is now a good eater with a shiny, dappled out coat.  He still plays in his water bucket, but we think he just likes being messy.  Unreachable Star knows he gets his NPSS before feed time and will nicker and holler until he get his, sucking on the syringe till it is all gone, then stomping his foot for more.  He is quite the character.  Our whole barn is on Natural Plan Stomach Soother.  We haven’t found one horse yet that doesn’t love it.  Unreachable Star’s 8 length victory that fall day is enough to make anyone believe in the fact that the Natural Plan Stomach Soother is the way to go.

Cindy Goodrich also reports good results for her thoroughbred.  After 3 years of losing weight every winter, she began using Natural Plan for her horse.  He did not go off his feed and lose weight.  With just 2 oz. of top dressing with NPSS, her horse stayed healthy and at peak performance.  Not to mention the savings in vet bills and traditional ulcer treatments.

Lou Moga, a race horse trainer with over 30 years experience says that “Natural Plan Stomach Soother stimulated appetite and relieved digestive stress resulting from racing for all the horses under my care.  I have been training race horses for thirty years and found this to be a good alternative to expensive medications.”

Loren P. has a thoroughbred filly that was nervous and was suspected of having ulcers.  At her level of performance value, Loren didn’t think it practical to administer products such as Gastroguard due to its expense.  She searched for alternatives and found Stomach Soother and Voila! it works. Pure & simple.  Even better, Corrine loves the taste – even begs for it as her treat.  Every horse in her barn is now on the product.

All these people discovered how Natural Plan Stomach Soother could keep their thoroughbreds at peak performance.  You want a clean, simple product that you can trust.  Other products are expensive, have side-effects and shouldn’t be used long term.  With NPSS, you can trust it’s safe, it won’t test, and your horse will love it.

Arthritic &Finicky Eater Gets on the Plan – Eats Heartily, Maintains Weight with Stomach Soother

Natalie V. told us her story,

Dear Stomach Soother,

About nine years ago, my parents bought me my dream horse, a 16.0 hand, Thoroughbred gelding named Miller.  I gave him the show name of “My Alibi”.  Immediately his dressage and eventing was unmatched.  His ability and our bond grew as we went through the hardships and hurdles of teenage life together.  We were inseparable (hence his show name…).  However, a few years after we bought him horrible stifle arthritis began to develop – initiated by previous years on the track.

He began to become a VERY finicky eater with tomach ulcers and was constantly in pain from the arthritis.  Countless cortisone shots later, we decided it was time to let him live a happy and long ife free of pain, but his eating never improved.  My mother, trainer and I researched and researched trying countless of eating supplements and spending thousands of dollars on weight gainers, but Miller refused to even consider the majority of them, choosing to not eat at all over eating his grain with a mysterious product.  I am now in college and recently went to a tack store (the English Horn in Washington, PA) and saw your product.  Something about it made me pick it up and think about my horse.  I decided to try it but was very skeptical it would turn out the same as the rest.  I gave the brochure to my trainer, who shard the “it’s too good to be true” feeling I had.  To our surprise, Miller LOVED it.

I don’t know if you know how big of a compliment that is to your product, but just emphasize, he won’t eat without it and literally runs to his dish when he knows grain with Natural Plan Stomach Soother ™ is there.  This never, ever, happened before with another product.  I just wanted to send out a huge thank you to your company.  It broke my heart every day when I went to visit him and see he ws about 200 lbs. underweight and refusing to eat.

Your product is bringing out the horse in him (physically and mentally) that I knew when I first purchased him years ago and I can’t thank you enough for that.  If anyone ever doubts this product or has skepticism like did, please share this story.  I would love to help another horse and owner like you helped me by sharing the power this product has.  Once again…thank you, thank you, thank you!

Try & Try Again – When Meds Can’t Help Gastric Ulcers in Horses – Getting on the Plan Helps

Caring for animals can be difficult at times – they can’t tell you what’s wrong, and they can’t tell you if something is working.  You have to figure it out for yourself.  Especially with something like gastric ulcers, signs can be subtle, like not eating well & being a hard keeper, or they can be severe – causing your horse obvious distress.  So you try a lot of things and see what works.

Valerie H. of Haines Stables in Illinois has a  Standard-bred racehorse that showed very sign of ulcers.  “He did not eat well, he would not gain weight, and he was only racing marginally.”  Valerie said she tried “Gastro-guard, Pepto-Bismol (pink bismuth) and Gastro-aid on my horse with absolutely no results.”  She then came across Natural Plan Stomach Soother(tm), a natural alternative remedy for stomach distress.  She had tried meds, she was turning to nature.

She says that since she put him on the product, “He has won 2 races, gained weight, and is looking great.  It (Natural Plan Stomach Soother(tm)) works.  I truly believe in this product.”

Donna B., an avid horsewoman suspected her daughter’s polocrosse/event horse may also be experiencing some degree of ulcers.  Her horse gradually began to lose weight.  “He is normally a very easy keeper, but he became discontented with his normal training routine and his coat looked mildly dull,” recalls Donna.  Her vet recommended Natural Plan Stomach Soother(tm) and “within 36 hours of being on Stomach Soother, his attitude and energy dramatically improved.  He gained weight back and continues to improve every day.  I have never seen such a fast response to any medication.”

Valerie just wishes she had found it sooner – it would have saved money and time.

EPM Horse w/ Pre-existing Ulcers benefits from Natural Plan Stomach Soother

Donna Bottner, an Eventer, Horse Trial Organizer & Pony Club mom recently recounted about her 10-year old thoroughbred who was diagnosed with EPM.  EPM is Equine protozoal myeloencephalitis, a disease caused by a protozoal infection of the central nervous system of a horse.  It may be hard to diagnose as the symptoms are sometimes general and/or subtle – such as lameness which can range in degree and cause.  It is estimated that 60-80% can be saved if it is caught early and treated.  Luckily, it can not be passed from horse to horse.

Once a horse is diagnosed, treatment begins.  However, as is often the case, there are sometimes side-effects to those treatments.  Donna explains, “(after my vet) diagnosed my horse with EPM, he chose treatment with Navigator (Idexx) and we began dosing the day after the diagnosis was confirmed by the lab (as well as previous and ongoing neurological examinations).  For the first 5 days everything was fine, as we only gave half a dose.  On day 6, the first day of the full dose, he developed symptoms of colic within one hour of medication  My horse had colic symptoms within 30-60 minutes for the next 11 days.  I tried everything, adding fat to his diet and experimenting with time of day and feeding before and after medication.  Nothing worked.  I was very discouraged and at wit’s end as to how to make it through this very difficult time.  I had gone through more Banamine than any horse should have to tolerate to keep him from colicking.”

She continues, “I spoke with a veterinarian (Dr. Stan Carroll, WV) who had done field trials with Navigator and had vast experience treating EPM horses.  Dr. Carroll recommended Natural Plan Stomach Soother (TM) because he said my horse most likely suffered from pre-existing ulcers and the medications (we found Banamine adds to ulcer distress in the long-term personally).  My vet also took a blood test and confirmed the results were consistent with a horse with ulcers. ”

“Within 36 hours of administering 60 cc of Stomach Soother ™, twice daily, we no longer had to worry about colic.  My horse began gaining his happy attitude back and was not suffering from the treatment.  that was an amazing turnaround!  I plan to continue to give him Natural Plan Stomach Soother daily. Post EPM treatment he is happy, healthy, sound and full of energy.  THere is no doubt in my mind that Stomach Soother made all the difference in how he tolerated the EPM treatment.  there are many good ulcer products on the market, but I like the fact that this is a natural digestive aid and is less than half the cost of Succeed or UlcerGard.”

“I believe any performance horse can benefit from this product.  We love our horses & treat them well, but we were blind to what was happening internally.  We keep them fit and active and now, thanks to Natural Plan Stomach Soother ™, much healthier and happier too!”
